Andrew Cornelius is an actor, improviser, and voice over talent. If you need him to find the comedy in your work, he is the actor to seek.
When it comes to live presentations, Andrew is consistently sought out for his ability to handle heavy texts and deliver outstanding performances. He has received acting accolades for his portrayal of "Danny" in Sexual Perversity in Chicago and his singing as "Roger DeBris" in The Producers. Andrew has worked as an emcee for Verizon and trained nearly 5,000 AT&T sales people as part of their 4G roll out. In addition, he was one of the orginal docents for "The Smart Home" at the Museum of Science and Industry and was a regular tour guide of the "U-505 Submarine." His first love, improv comedy, has taken him to stages in New York, Chicago, Philadelphia, Minneapolis, Milwaukee and others.
Andrew has extensive training. He is a graduate of DePauw University where he studied acting. He supplemented his BA with Second City's yearlong Conservatory. He has also completed the improv training programs at iO and The Annoyance. His singing chops have been honed with private voice lessons with various teachers. Andrew's voice over skills were perfected at Bosco Studio's program in Chicago. When it comes to on camera and commercial work, Andrew has polished his image with classes and seminars at Actor's Connection and various workshops in New York City.
